HYTREL is... |
 |
Hytrel is the Dupont's registered trademark of polyester thermoplastic elastomers. Hytrel is the polyester block copolymer consisted of hard crystal part(PBT) and soft amorphous. Because of high functional elasticity and flexible plastic characteristics, it is widely used for the parts in need of flexibility, mechanical strength, and durability. It is strongly resistant to impact, elasticity, creep and abrasion. Hytrel retains these properties at temperatures from -40¡ÆC to +110¡ÆC. Its chemical properties make it highly resistant to chemicals, oils, and other solvents. |
